摘要

The effects of P and N rates, as well as application date of N on the yield and yield components of sunflower cv. MSFH-8 were determined in a field experiment conducted in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India during the winter of 1998-2000. Treatments comprisedof the following: 0, 30 or 60 kg P/ha applied in combination with 40, 80 or 120 kg N/ha applied in two splits (one-half basal+one-half applied during the first irrigation) or three splits (one-half basal+one-fourth applied during the first irrigation+one-fourth applied during the second irrigation or one-third basal+one-third applied during the first irrigation+one-third applied during the second irrigation). The seed, stover and biological yield; yield components such as number of seed per head, headdiameter and 100-seed weight; net returns; and benefit:cost ratio increased with increasing N and P rates, and were highest with three-split application of N (one-third basal+one-third during the first irrigation+one-third during the second irrigation).
