Metal futures: LME copper sets 10-year high

London Metal Exchange (LME) copper settled above $10,000/t for the first time in over a decade in today's official morning session as prices across the rest of the base metal complex were mixed. The three-month LME copper contract rose by 0.4pc to $10,028/t, the first time the red metal has settled at this level since February 2011.
