Hebei Anfeng Iron and Steel commissions hot strip mill

China's Hebei Anfeng Iron and Steel has commissioned a new rolling facility at the plant in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, Metal Expert learnt from the statement by SINO-HEAVYMACH, the equipment supplier. The steelmaker has put into operation a 1,450 mm hot strip mill for manufacturing 3.2 million tpy of 1.45?12.7 mm thick and 800?1,300 mm wide HRC. The new hot strip mill consists of 2 re-heating furnaces, 1 roughing mill with edger, 7-stand finishing mill and 3 sets for downcoilers. The technical outfit enables the company to produce high-quality products with reduced energy consumption to meet strict environmental standards.
