A field experiment was conducted during rabi season of 2009-10 at Jobner to study the effect of organics and irrigation scheduling on nutrient content, uptake and properties sandy loam soil. The results showed that application (FYM 5 tha + vermicompost 2.5 tha + RJiizobiutn) F5V25 + R gave highest NPK concentration in both seed and straw and their total uptake by fenugreek crop. Increasing irrigation levels from Ia to L, recorded significantly lowest nitrogen content in both seed and straw and significantly increased phosphorus and potassium concentration in seed and straw, total uptake of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium as compared to Ir Application of all the organics resulted in significant reduction in bulk density, EC and pH of soil, whereasimprovement in organic carbon content, available nitrogen and phosphorus status of soil at harvest was registered, where addition of F5V25 R+P treatment registered significantly maximum values of these soil properties over control.
