Economics of weed management in brassica species

In mustard, weed menace in one of the important factors responsible for its decreased yield. Gill et al (1984) found 30 percent reduction in seed yield of Indian mustard due to weed competition. Weed removal by manual method is costly and cumbersome.Herbicides are effective and economical for weed control in India (Singh et al. 1989). The present investigation was undertaken to find out economic viable weed management measure for efficient weed control in Brassica species.
