摘要

To know the allelopathic effects of senescent leaf litter of Jatropha curcas on greengram (Vigna radiata) cv. MH-96-1, clusterbean (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba) cv. HG-563, mothbean (Phaseolus aconitifolius) cv. RMO-40 and pearl millet (Pennisetum typhoides) cv. HHB-67, pot experiment was conducted. Pots were incorporated with dry senescent leaves with soil @ 7.37, 9.82 and 12.28 g/pot. As the doses of Jatropha leaf litter increased, the growth, yield and yield attributes of test crops also increased upto 9.82 g/pot, thereafter, it reduced at 12.28 g/pot but significantly higher than control.
