Land of Liberty trail riders enjoyed heart-of-the- elk-herd experiences in Elk County, Pennsylvania. Elk and other wildlife thrilled riders on this year's 77.3-mile Land of Liberty Trail Ride, held at the aptly named Big Elk Lick Campground in Benezette, Pennsylvania. Big Elk Lick owners Bert and Sandy Reese hosted riders from as far away as Texas. Other riders came from Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. Family groups included eight teenagers, and a familyApHC membership was given to Jeff and Kathy I loffman of Paradise, Texas, and their nephew Tyler.
