Chiisanenside, a new triterpene glycoside from the fruits of Acanthopanax chiisanensis

A new triterpene glycoside was isolated from the fruits of Acanthopanax chiisanensis and identified as 3-O-beta-D-[(6-carboxymethyl)-glucopyranosyl-(1 -> 3)-beta-D-glucuronopyranosyl]-olean-12-en-28-oic acid by spectral analyses. This compound was isolated for the first time from nature, and named chiisanenside.
