ITK/syk translocation in angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma

Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lym-phoma (AITL) is a follicular T-helper cell-derived aggressive peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) that usually presents with systemic symptoms and advanced-stage disease with generalized lymphadenopathy together with frequent hepatosplenomegaly and a pruritic skin rash. The disease is also often associated with characteristic laboratory findings that include anemia (frequently Coombs positive) and hypergammaglobulinemia.
