America's premier farm show a success

Seneca, Illinois, U.S.A. - The 1997 Farm Progress Show took place here Sept. 23-25 and drew well over 100,000 visitors, despite rain showers that cancelled the first day of harvest demonstrations. Held on 1,400 acres of com and soybean farmland in theupper midwest of the United States, the Farm Progress Show is the largest outdoor farm show in the country. Each year it rotates to new show sites in three U.S. States: Illinois, Indiana and Iowa. These states are considered the heart of America's grain producing region.
