Botswana, Nigeria in oil talks

BOTSWANA AND NIGERIA are finalising a deal that will ensure supply of crude oil to the former. This was revealed recently by Nigeria's High Commissioner to Botswana, Okubotin Charles Cocodia.After presenting his credentials to President Seretse Khama Ian Khama, Ambassador Cocodia said the two countries were working out the modalities of refining and supplying crude oil through Walvis Bay in Namibia. The discussions on crude oil and gas importation will bear fruit, and appealed for private sector participation in the construction of a refinery that could bo built in either of the two countries,' Ambassador Cocodia said.
