Apache reveals Egypt discoveries

US INDEPENDENT APACHE has applied for two new development leases in Egypt after striking a couple of discoveries in two different concessions. The explorer hit 87 feet of net pay at the Apries-lX well on the Khalda Offset concession in the Shushan basin, it said. The well, drilled and completed at a cost of USS5mn, tested 4389 bopd and 14.2 mmcfd from the Paleozoic Basur sand.
