A 16-year-old boy on a wrestling team noticed a sore spot on his buttock. He assumed it was a spider bite. Two days later, the bump enlarged with a small amount of pus. which he expressed. As the week progressed, the bump grew larger, red. raised, and warm. He then notified his mother and went to a pediatrician.
