THE OFFSHORE TECHNOLOGY Conference (OTC) was held for the 48th time in Houston, Texas, in May. Leaders from BP and Shell spoke frankly about the challenges the petroleum industry faces and how these challenges can be met. Offshore opportunities and increased capital expenditure for African offshore projects were also on the agenda.
