Promising results from Cheptuket-1 well

THE CHEPTUKET-1 WELL, located in Block 12A, in northern Kenya, has encountered good oil shows, according to announcements from Africa Oil and Tullow Oil, two of the stakeholders at 20 per cent and 40 per cent respectively. Delonex Energy, which launched an African E&P company in 2013, holds the remaining 40 per cent stake in the block. The Delonex stake in Block 12A is the result of a farm-down from Tullow Oil in 2015.
