Methods in mummy research

摘要

Mummies are human remains with preservation of non-bony tissue. Manymummy studies focus on the development and application of non-destructive methods forexamining mummies, including radiography, CT-scanning with advanced 3-dimensionalvisualisations, and endoscopic techniques, as well as minimally-destructive chemical, physi-cal and biological methods for, e.g., stable isotopes, trace metals and DNA.
