摘要

Here we have reported a new significant DABCO based acidic ionic liquid ([DABCO(C2COOH)2] 2+[Br-]2). With the assistance of this IL, ZnO nanoparticle (NP) supported [DABCO (C2COOH)2] 2+ [Br -]2 immobilised ZnO-[DABCO(C2COOH)2] 2+[Br-]2 was estab-lished, a new supported Catalyst with an ionic liquid layer (SCILL,). Since ZnO nanoparticles are amphoteric in nature and DABCO based ionic liquid is acidic in nature, it posses both acidic and basic catalytic site in a single moiety.
