The world economic scenario is hazy. No one can accurately predict, if any one could ever do, where it is heading. There are good signs for us that we are vastly better of due to things like steep decline in oil and other commodity prices. While, decline in value of Rupee viz-a-viz Dollar somewhat off-sets the lower costs of imported oil and other commodities, for things exported, we will be happily receiving higher value, assuming we don't have to reduce the price in Dollar terms. Unfortunately, our exports are of not a whole lot value added products. Hence, it happens that we get more Rupees for a product sent out but we will end up paying much more for the value added conversion that we will import back from the same product we exported.
