The international markets will be monitoring production inChina, the world’s largest producer, closely in 2020 now thatthe threat of stocks from the bankrupt Fanya Metal Exchange(FME) over hanging the market has diminished somewhat.Chinese 2019 concentrate production is likely to surpass 2018 output of 116,271t. But all eyes will probably be on Chinese production levels in 2020 as the government attempts toimplement environmental restrictions, update productionquotas and crack down on illegal mining.
