China's Pengcheng halts si production

Chinese silicon producer Pengcheng has suspended production to carry out equipment maintenance because of limited profit margins caused by price falls during March-April. The Hunan-based company, with a 700-800 t/month output capacity, started equipment maintenance for 20 days from the end of April. It is likely to resume production in late May after the maintenance depending on market conditions.
