China's import tariff cuts are expected to boost nickel im- ports in 2021, market participants said. China will cut the import tax on "other non-alloy nickel", under HS code 75021090, to 1pc in 2021 from 2pc currently, the finance ministry said. "Other non-alloy nickel" includes refined nickel plate. The move is expected to raise supplies in the Chinese nickel market next year.
