Chinese vanadium prices are expected to rise further in the coming days on renewed buying interest from steel mills and a fall in spot availability caused by the coronavirus outbreak Prices for 50pc grade alloy rose for the first time since early December, adding nearly 8pc in value on 4 February in response to low supply and higher offers from producers. Prices for 98pc grade pentoxide flake increased 2pc to Yn94,500-96,000/t yesterday.
