Metal futures: Metals mixed after Fed decision

Base metal price movements on the London Metal Exchange (LME) were mixed and muted in the official morning session Thursday after the US Federal Reserve projected the US economy to grow as fast as 6.5pc this year while it pledged to maintain low rates and continue its bond-buying program. The three-month copper contract rose by 0.6pc to $9,077.50/t.
