Chinese Cu smelters lift 4Q TCs guidance

China's copper smelters purchase team set the purchase guidance price for copper concentrates treatment and refining charges (TC/ RCs) for this year's fourth quarter at $70/t and 7￠/Ib at a meeting in Shanghai earlier today. This is 27.3pc higher than the third-quarter guidance price of $55/t and 5.5￠/Ib. But the price is just 6.2pc higher than Argus's latest weekly assessment for spot trades at $65.90/t and 6.59￠/Ib on 24 September.
