New trend of urban transporters

There are two measures to improve energy efficiency of automobile transportation. One is the improvement of vehicle's own energy efficiency and the other is a measure for whole transportation system. Modal mix is one of the measures for system efficiency improvement. Some new services such as car-sharing, which is located between privately owned cars and public transportation, have been established in the field of people transportation.
