State-of-the-art of air quality prediction models and their prospects

The aim of this article is to discuss about the present state and prospect for air quality prediction models (AQPMs). These AQPMs have different features between the urban and roadside scales, and the latter problems were mainly discussed here. The street surrounded by tall buildings is called as street canyon. The concentration distribution of automobile emissions within the street canyon is determined by the typical circulating wind. The concentration under these conditions is estimated with wind tunnel or numerical simulations and so on.
