The study was carried out on the effect of various weather parameters like minimum and maximum temperature, Relative Humidity and rainfall on incidence of linseed bud fly (Dasyneura lini Barnes) and Semilooper (Plusia orichalcea) on six genotype of Linseed viz. Neelum, Garima, janki, Padmini, NDL2003-4 and NDL-2002. Infestation of bud fly was positively correlated with minimum & maximum temperature and rainfall in all genotypes under protected and unprotected treatments during both the years. The infestation of bud fly was positively correlated with relative humidity under protected and unprotected treatment during 2006-07. Contrary to this all genotypes were found negatively correlated with relative humidity in both treatments during 2005-06. Infestation of semilooper was found negatively correlated with minimum and maximum temperature in all genotypes under protected and unprotected treatments during both the years. The incidence of semilooper in all genotypes was positively correlated with relative humidity under protected and unprotected treatments during both years, except genotype 'Janki' and 'Padmini' under protected and unprotected treatment during 2006-07 and genotype 'NDL2003-04' and 'NDL-2002' under unprotected treatment during 2005-06which showed negative correlation. The incidence of semilooper in all genotypes was positively correlated with rainfall under protected and unprotected treatments during 2006-07.Contrary to this all genotypes under protected and unprotected treatment were negatively correlated with regard to semilooper infestation during 2005-06.
