Jack-ups booked for Mexico

Seadrill has agreed contracts for its jack-up rigs West Oberon, West Intrepid, West Defender, West Courageous and West Titania to drill offshore Mexico. Each contract is for a firm term of six years and total revenue potential from the five contracts exceeds $1.8bn. Seadrill has also established a subsidiary, SeaMex, to own and manage the jack-up drilling units working for Pemex, as well as developing and pursuing further opportunities in Mexico and other Latin American countries.
