DNV GL has had its knuckles rapped by the IACS for having a go at fellow class society ClassNK, saying that it should never have classed the MOL Comfort. Picture the scene, dear readers, IACS giving DNV GL a very stern look: "Not only have you not done your homework and come up with common rules for all your owners, but now I hear you've been calling ClassNK names! I'm so disappointed. How could you do this, I thought we had raised you better than this! You'd better hope your father, IMO, doesn't hear what you've been up to! Now you go and stand in that corner and it's no presentations to the press for you unless you apologise." And so it came to pass that DNV GL didn't go home as the teacher's pet for the first time in its schooling career.
