STELLA HUB TAKES SHAPE

The Great Stella Area (GSA) oil and gas production hub in the UK North Sea is likely to comeon-stream in mid-2015 thanks to efforts by Ithaca Energy. The GSA is located in the heart of the Central Graben area of the Central North Sea and the licences contain the Stella and Harrier fields, which are currently in the process of being developed. They also cover the Hurricane discovery and the Twister prospect, which was awarded in the 27th UK Offshore Licence Round. The GSA project will include the development of up to four fields in blocks 29/10a and b and 30/6a, with Stella and Harrier first on the list.
