Rosneft strikes oil in the high north

Russia's Rosneft has hit oil in the northernmost well in the world with its Universitetskaya-1 probe in the Kara Sea in the Arctic. The find was made in the East-Prinovozemelskiy-1 licence area and drilling with the West Alpha rig was completed in just one and a half months.
