MAN Diesel's Ole Grone pointed outthatthe Otto cycle used by Wartsila engines causes methane slip. "Methane pollutes 25 times more than CO_2 and is really bad forthe environment. This is why our engines use the diesel principal and have no methane slip at all," he said.
