Argentina takes aim at Falklands oil firms

A federal judge in Argentina has ordered the seizure of assets belonging to five companies drilling for oil off the disputed Falkland Islands. Judge Lilian Herraez, based in Tierra del Fuego in the country's deep south, is asking authorities to seize boats and other assets worth $156 mil lion. Buenos Aires plans to pursue the judge's order and Argentine foreign minister Hector Timerman has said he will formally request that the stock exchange regulators carry it out.
