How far will the price offuelfall?That is an interesting question as the cost of crude oil continues its descent, causing anguish among ourfriends in the offshore world as the rigs start to lay up with the holes plugged against better times. Oil politics being whatthey are, it is a difficult question to answer, as we weigh up the motivation of the mainly Middle Eastern OPEC members and China's moderating thirst for energy, along with the prospects for all that North American shale. It wouldn't be the first time that the economists and politicians have got their forecasts hopelessly wrong.
