While climate scientists, politicians, economists, sceptics and protagonists argue about whether climate change is real and if so, is it the result of human activities or natural forces, the earth's temperature continues to rise. In February 2007 the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) confirmed what many scientists had believed for a long time, the earth's rising temperature and associated climate change are the result of human activities.
