ALLSA 2012 Congress report Allergy in action Vineyard Hotel, Cape Town 13-15 July 2012

Another highly successful ALLSA congress was held in Cape Town in July. As well as thought-provoking plenary-sessions, parallel sessions dealt with 'PID for the practising doctor' and UK-based speakers Drs George du Toit and Carina Venter presented a well-attended 'Dietitian's Food Allergy Symposium'. The congress issue of the journal (June 2012) contained articles and abstracts related to many of the papers presented, so this report highlights just a few of the many outstanding presentations.
