BackgroundThe repair of segmental mandibular defects remains challenging in the clinic. Previous studies have shown that cryopreserved bone-derived osteoblasts (CBOs) have good proliferation and osteogenicity. However, whether these cells can be used in the repair of segmental mandibular defects is largely unknown.
