NGOs lodge new legal complaints against EU pesticide approvals

Environmentalist have lodged a new type of legal complaint against EU pesticide approvals after the bloc's legislation was updated to allow such regulatory challenges. On 24 January, PAN Europe announced they had sent two legal actions to the European Commission, one on the illegal presence on the market of non-evaluated pesticides and the other on the reapproval of cypermethrin.
