EU sparkling wine exports fall for first time in a decade

EU exports of sparkling wine to the rest of the world have fallen for the first time in ten years. On 31 December, the EU's statistical office Eurostat published its updated figures for sparkling wine and found that the bloc's exports dropped by 6% between 2019 and 2020, from 528 million liters to 494 million liters.
