MEPs call for EU to tackle “overconsumption” of meat and HFSS foods, in promotion policy revamp, plus alcohol crackdown

The European Parliament’s Special Committee on Beating Cancer (BECA) has called on the EU to tackle “overconsumption of meat and ultra-processed products, as well as products high in sugars, salt and fats [HFSS]” in the upcoming revision of its agricultural products promotion policy.
