UAE suspends steel scrap exports

Steel scrap exports from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have been temporarily suspended for the next four months, from Friday (15 May), the country’s Ministry of Economy announced. The ministry said the decision was taken in order to ensure the continuation of operations and supply of raw materials which are required for their manufacturing activities.
