Turkish import demand for coking coal has fallenyear-on-year in the first quarter, according to thelatest customs data.Tender activity for coking coal imports wasrelatively busy in the previous quarter, with requestsseen from all the main three steel producers, but itwas not enough to keep import levels ahead of lastyear’s. Coking coal imports in the last quarter totalled1.19 mt, down from 1.23 mt in the previous quarter.
