Farmers' markets in a new light

When UK farmers' markets stalled in the mid-1990s they were seen as a way of bringing local produce into towns and cities, enabling producers to make direct contact with the buying public. However, and perhaps surprisingly, they may also be used for the reverse process of drawing customers on to a farm.
