This year, domestic demand for coking coal will remain unchanged from 2011,while the material production will grow, thereby making for larger exports. Productionof coke is forecast to keep at the last year.s level of 30 mt and that of raw cokingcoal to increase by around 3 mt in 2012. In 2013, the glut will deepen becauselocal consumers will curtail buying amid deterioration in the steel markets. Moreover,considering miners. output targets and probability of their attainment, productionmay gain another 1.8 mt. Actual domestic supply of coal will be determined bydemand. It will be mainly unsold amounts that will be exported.
