Aurizon Lowers Goal for Coal Transportation by Rail

On February 15, Aurizon Holdings Limited, the Australia’s biggest freight railway company lowered the goal forits coal transportation volume by rail in FY2020/21 (one year ending 30 June 2021) to the range of 200 million tons to 210million tons. Since the existing goal for the coal transportation volume by rail was in the range of 210 million tons to 220million tons. Hence, the numerical numbers of both lower and upper limits were down by 10 million tons. Incidentally,Aurizon transported 213.9 million tons of coal by rail in FY2019/20.
