MMC Produces 1.051 Million Tons of Raw Coal from April to June

Mongolian Mining Corporation (MMC), a Mongolia’s biggest private coal mining company produced 1.051 million tons of raw coal in the period from April to June in 2021. This represents an increase of 436,000 tons (71.0%) versus the year-earlier period. Besides, 667,000 tons of raw coal was prepared at the coal handling and preparation plant (CHPP) from April to June, and 324,000 tons of washed coking coal was produced. When compared with the year-earlier period, the prepared volume of raw coal was down by 54,000 tons (7.5%) and down by 33,000 tons (9.2%) respectively.
