Golar and Partners Agree to Increase Capacity Utilization of Cameroon FLNG PJ

Norway-based shipping company Golar LNG, Cameroon-based Perenco and Societe Nationale des Hydrocarnures (SNH) have agreed to increase the capacity utilization of an offshore LNG production vessel “Hilli Episeyo.” As Perenco and SNH intend to further advance drilling to further drill gas wells to raise natural gas production, gas supply to the FLNG is expected to rise. The capacity utilization will gradually increase from 2022 and the project will be able to produce an additional up to 400,000 mt of LNG per year from 2023.
