On April 1, the strike occurred at the coal mine owned by Warrior Met Coal Inc. Since the negotiation between the United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) and the top management of Warrior Met Coal did not come to an end by March 31, the coal mine workers of the Company went on strike. Warrior Met Coal is now running Mine No.7 and Mine No.4 in Alabama. As a result of occurrence of the strike, Warrior Met Coal not only suspended operation of Mine No.7 but also reduced the coal production at Mine No.4.
