Bridger Pipeline conversion to help divert Bakken crude barrels

Bridger Pipeline will soon convert a North Dakota gathering pipeline and expand it, which could help divert more Bakken Shale barrels toward Wyoming if the Dakota Access Pipeline is closed by court order. The move meshes with a previous open season jointly announced in March by Bridger and Tallgrass Energy for more crude transportation from the Bakken Shale to storage hub at Cushing, Oklahoma, and ultimately to Texas Gulf Coast destinations that could commence as early as June 1.
