Cyprus-based Tharisa’s fiscal Q3 PGMs, chrome output supported by stronger pricing

Increased demand and stronger pricing supported platinum group metals and chrome co-producer Tharisa’s operational performance in the April-June, or third, quarter of its 2021 financial year, the company said July 9. The Cyprus-based company’s platinum, palladium, rhodium, iridium, ruthenium and gold (6E) PGMs production increased 11% year on year to 39,000 oz, while its chrome concentrate production increased 18% year on year to 379,700 mt, excluding third party production, the company said.
